Carol Johnson

Carol S. Johnson age 64 of Plymouth, Illinois, passed away at her home in Plymouth, on Friday, September 13, 2024.  She was born August 9, 1960 in Macomb to Everett and Rosie Nolan Johnson.

Carol is survived by 1 daughter: Christina (Randall) Kimbrough, Bardoph, Illinois, 1 son: Kevin Johnson, Illinois, 5 grandchildren: Colby Rivera, Jayden Rivera, Gavin Kimbrough, Logan Kimbrough, Lauralai Kimbrough, 3 brothers: Gene (Doris) Johnson, Texas, Ernest Johnson, Plymouth, Rodney Johnson, Oklahoma, 2 sisters: Judy (Richard) McFarland, Good Hope, Illinois, Patricia (Robert) Canavit, Plymouth, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Mabrane Burnett, 1 brother: James Johnson, 1 sister in law: Pamela Johnson, and 1 brother in law: Ed Burnett.

Carol enjoyed the outdoors, visiting with her neighbors, fishing, watching movies and eating red watermelon.  She had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care and growing plants.  Most of all Carol loved her cats, grandchildren and most of all her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  Celebration of life and burial at Blackburn Cemetery will take place at a later date.  Jones Mortuary in Colchester is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorial is to the family of Carol to help with expenses.  Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
