Billy J. White

    Billy J. White age 56 of Macomb, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at O.S.F. Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.  He was born May 23, 1966, in Wichita, Kansas to Harold and Minnie Waterman White.  Billy was united in marriage December 31, 1999, in Macomb to Shawna McNeff.

    Surviving to mourn his passing is his wife, Shawna White of Macomb, 4 children; Aaron White age 22 of Fremont, Nebraska, Emma White age 20 of Macomb, Jackson White age 13 of Macomb, Lanie White age 11 of Macomb, 2  brothers; Jake (Sherry) White, Macomb, Ralph (Kelly) White, Bloomington, Illinois, several half brothers and sisters, 2 nieces; Erika (Ben) Potratz, Lincoln, Stephanie Cagney, 1 nephew; Danny Griffith, 1 great niece; Jesalyn Potratz, and 3 great nephews; Parker, Dawson and Ledger Potratz.

    Billy was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother; Nicky White, and his mother and father in law; Paula and George McNeff.

    Billy had driven a bus for the Macomb School District.  He was a member of the Macomb Eagles Club and a group of friends that named the group the Sciota Syndicate.  He enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, watching movies, and being able to answer any question that was related to either music or movies.  He could always find the best song to fit the moment at hand.  Billy loved Christmas so much that he could tell you how many days it was till Christmas at any point of the year.  He even had his family put the tree up in July to celebrate Christmas in July.  The greatest love of all in Billy’s life was his wife and kids and his family.  He loved ever moment that he spent with them.

    Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Avon Cemetery in Avon with Rev. Kaleb Greenlief.  Visitation with the family will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Jones Mortuary in Colchester.  Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home from 8:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.
