Betty Lou Raymond age 78 of Colchester, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was born September 2, 1945, to Chester and Dorothy Beaty. Betty was united in marriage June 17, 1972 in Industry to Richard Raymond. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2022, she was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Mary Beaty.
Surviving to mourn her passing are 1 son: John Raymond, Colchester, 2 brothers: Robert Beaty, and Jimmy Beaty.
Betty was a homemaker, she enjoyed watching Television shows and movies along with gardening. Most of all Betty loved taking care of her family making sure all of their needs were meet.
Private family Graveside services were held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 15, 2023, at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb, with Rev. Caleb Sparrow. Jones Mortuary in Colchester handled arrangements for the family. Condolences and memories can be expressed to the family at jonesmortuaryfh.com.
